In Part Two, titled “Shakespeare, performance capture and getting back on stage – Richard Armitage talks to TheOneRing.net”, which give you an idea about what the interview was about. Richard Armitage loves Shakespeare and performance capture, and is wanting to “get back on stage”.
I love the interview for the bits about Mr. Armitage’s acting process. But his future plans? “Getting back on stage”? Really? How many, many, many time has he pulled this one out as a response to “future projects”? Note to researchers – check out his interviews and count them. He says that talk of his going back to the stage “winds up” his fans. Really?
He also says “I’m looking at quite a lot of smaller, independent movies with less special effects, as well.” So, shouldn’t be too hard to find, right? Quite a lot? PICK ONE, please, Mr. A.!
Please note, Mr. Armitage, you do “wind up” your fans when you are so coy about your future projects! We are quite curious to know just what you are considering. I hope you really are honestly considering some projects, and aren’t just saying it in order to avoid the question.
In another recent interview, Mr. Armitage said he was seriously trying to find a U.S. tv program to do, since he had a permit to work in the U.S. thanks to his work in “Into the Storm“. So what is it – tv? stage? independent movies? Keeping his cards close to his chest? Well, he’s “not ruling anything out”!
