This made me cry, not just because of this lovely gentleman who wrote such beautiful things about his late wife but because a truly sweet friend of mine passed away just over a week ago and yes, her name was Lorraine. As soon as I heard it I went on to iTunes and bought it. It seemed to fit her perfectly. Every time I hear it I remember the good times our little group of friends have had with her since 2004.

Wow, see you never know what you’ll find by reading the blogs! I’m so sorry to hear you lost your friend. How wonderful to be able to have something that reminds you of her. I lost my uncle last week and I am very sad, but it’s not the same as losing a friend who you shared so many good times with. Here’s a BIG HUG!

Thanks for the big hug Marie! They always help. She had battled various cancers over the years but eventually couldn’t beat this one, not once it settled in her brain. We were part of a small walking group and most of us are widows. She will be sorely missed.
